My grandmother was born in Hawaii. She was raised in California until she was ten years old.?

My grandmother's father was a US Navy carpenter during the world war (1944)-sacada. Her father brought her back in the Philippines when she was ten years old and never went back to the US. My grandmother died sometime on 2010. Could there be a chance that I could work or live in the US basing on her citizenship? Could her children receive any benefit/s from the US government? If they could what and how to process? Could I be granted for an easy access to work or live in the US?
