I Have a 22 winchester M-250 and i want to know the year and value?

It is a 22 winchester that is at least 30 years old. it is a M-250 and has a model # of 710880. I tool it to a gunsmith and i need it fixed i need to know if it is worth the money of if i should go buy a knew one? I would like to know everything you know about this particular rifle. I would also love to know the year.
