Protein shakes to lose wieght?

Ok so i am a very busy mother of two and work 3 jobs i eat very very healthy and exercise regularly jog 6 miles at least 3 times a week... I do not have time to prepare and make healthy meals for myself during the day and i dont want to starve my self because then i wont lose weight i need to trick my body that im eating when im really not.. so i bought that 100%whey protein shake from costco the BIG bag and was wondering if i drink that once or twice a day with some fruit or veggies.. would i lose wieght?? Ive got to get a couple of pounds off but i know that you have to eat to lose wieght!
