Is there a code to place on your website so members can look items up on Amazon with a upc number?

I'm working on a new social media site and want to add a search tool where members can look up items in their possession that would be found on Amazon with a UPC number. Does Amazon offer a free tool like this? If so please point me in the direction or if someone knows how to write this code any help would be great. Thanks!
