To Australians out there: What do you mean by "job lot rates" paid to carpenters, plumbers, painters?

I'm doing research on the differences between contract rates, hourly rates and job lot rates paid to carpenters, plumbers, bricklayers, painters, wall and roof tilers in Australia. Please help! Thanks!
