What is life like as a dish network installer/technician ?

I just applied to become a dish network installer. May not get the job but I was wondering about what to expect with the job. I live in southern Illinois which I've been told will affect the pay but I can't find anywhere what the pay is. It's also not clear if I will have to pay for my own gas, supplies, tools, etc. It just says they supply the vehicle. Can someone help? Thank You!!
